So yesterday I came home for the weekend.  It was an eventful ride with Steph and Steve, well mainly the conversation was, but it’s all good.  Today I woke up in my own bed.  It’s such an amazing feeling to be in your own bed and wake up in your own room.  There’s no shouting in the hall like in college, its just quite, its perfect.  I got to hang out with my BFF today too.  We went shopping at the mall.  It was just like the good old days.  Funny how I refer to stuff from last year as the “good old days”.  Maybe it’s because it seems so long ago and college is so much different from high school.  Oh well, next year Ashley will room with me and it will be awesome.  I really cannot wait, because there will be no more walking in the cold to I-house…all I’ll have to do is ride an elevator.  Everytime I come home it seems like I belong here less and less…not that it’s necessarily a bad thing.  I still like to come home from time to time and see everyone and it’s always a good time, but I have more things to do and more people to hang out with at Toledo.

And tomorrow I’m going back to Toledo in time for the Super Bowl. Go Carolina!!

Well, I think the best way to describe how I feel right now is like when you stare straight ahead and you just cant close your eyes or really do anything.  Thank goodness the weekend’s coming, because I need to catch up on all my sleep I’ve been missing out on.  This weekend I’ll be back in J-Town to see the familia and some of my friends.  It’s probably one of the only times I’ll be able to go home before Spring Break.  Yeah about Spring Break, no one has the same one as me!  Not my friends in high school, not my friends in other colleges.  I have no idea what I’m going to do.  If any Toledo kids want me to visit them over break, good.  It’s a good excuse for a road trip, I won’t be bored, and I’ll be 19.  Oh my goodness, last birthday as a teenager  ohhh nooooo.

Last night the b-ball team won.  It wasn’t as much as the BG game probably because no one came, oh well, that just shows how much school spirit we have.  After that, I went back over to Ihouse and hung out with Andy,  I had fun even though Steve had to be a DB and make fun of me. BOO.

 

 

 

 

Yeah, so after I ran a mile today my knee decided to hurt like no other.  There was really nothing I could do about it either because I had to stand for 2 hours during Chem Lab, boo.  So this is the 2nd day in a row that Jackson kids havent had school and that’s annoying.  They don’t have to walk to their classes, i DO! 

Last night was weird, we went to see a film showing at this pub place.  It’s not really the sorta thing I’m  into.  Besides the fact that that my eyes were choked with smoke, it was pretty interesting.  Well, everything except for the commercials.  I’ve always hated dumb commercials, and this guy was a genius at making them.  So now I officially hate him and want to hit him with a stick.

Boring day. Woke up. Did homework. Listened to music. That’s about all that happens on Sundays.  Last night was Ok…just went over to Steves room, had pizza, watched a movie, and yelled down the hallways “You’re unbelievable….OHHHHH!”

I’m really tired.  Never again will I stay up until almost 4 in the morning, that’s way past my bedtime   But last night was pretty crazy.  Started by hanging out with the soccer girls and that started to get a little wild, so then it was off to bowl with Steph, Steve, and Andy.  Well, Steph and I managed to beat Steve finally, but that’s only because we added our scores together.  I almost slipped on one of those stupid manhole covers on the way back, so I was feeling quite the cool one.  Then I watched Steve play Tiger Woods and played Name that Tune, so it was an eventful night I’d say…well not really.  But today we did a soccer clinic for inner city kids and that was fun.  They seemed to enjoy it.  I was a little disappointed that I was designated ball shagger but oh well, thats what happens when you’re not cleared to play.  Well, I’m probably coming home next weekend so watch out Jtown…the Grand Am will be back in action.

well the past two days have been crazy.  Let’s see…Toledo beat BGSU 83-80 woo hoo! Yeahhh all the cheers of Eskimo and Netter really worked.  That was the good part of those days, but besides that not so much was good.  Let’s see, boys are stupid.  Definitely throw rocks at them.  I love being dumped.  It’s about the funnest thing in this world next to the monthly visitor.  I also love that when they dump you its “our friendship means so much to me, I want to stay friends.”  Well that’s never possible right after you give a lame-o excuse for breaking up.   Anyways, I don’t care.  On to being single again.  It won’t be so bad I suppose.  Just more time to hang out with my friends!  Tonight should be cool, going to hang out with the soccer girls and then possibly do a bit of bowling with some cool people.  Definitely must beat Steve this time so he’ll shut up about being God’s gift to bowling.   Well, that’s all for now.  And if you’re a cute, single guy…..just kidding! I’m not about to get into another relationione now.

Besides that, I had a really boring day.  Classes were boring, all we did was take notes.  Lifting was pretty easy, and I didn’t have to give me 1 min talk about Casey so all was good.  And then i ran into a tree branch…that can be my stupid moment for the day.  it ranks right up there with asking where my calculator was when it was in my hand the whole time.  Anyways, hopefully tomorrow will be better, nothing exciting happened in Toledo…but, back in JACKSON…greggy will be going to england for ODP, yeah greg unit!  Now i can go to germany, yaaaa.   Well thats all…a crappy entry for a crappy mood

Alright, as I write this the girl in the room next to mine is blasting her annoying “sexual” music…This will make 3 days in a row now and I am quite sick of it.  I should just start up the Brand New and crank that bia, see how SHE likes it.  I’m really not in a bad mood today, I just cannot stand certain noises.  In fact, since i’ve come to college I’ve picked out the 5 most annoying noises in the world…

#1. Having to walk through the halls and everyone is on their cell phones. No, i really don’t care to hear about your problems.

#2. The noises that come out of that bathroom.  I really hate having my room so close to it. Honestly, is it necessary to hock a lugey when you’re in the shower?

#3.  The clicking of a computer mouse.  Not just a click here and there but a constant click, click, click, etc.  Some people don’t have a problem with this one, but i REALLY do.  It drives me nuts….

#4.  People that talk so loud past quiet hours when they KNOW the sports teams have early practice.  These are the same people who think that you won’t hear them unless they talk loud, well i have news for you…the whole campus can hear you so SHUT IT.

#5.  The sound of alarm clocks going off when no one’s in the room/Fire alarms at 3 in the morning.

Anyways, about today.  I woke up super early to go to practice and i ran 1 mile.  I felt so accomplished for the day.  Then i went to chem lab and destroyed that bia.  After that i got to take a nap and then go to therapy where i ran another mile and got made fun of for still gimping when i run.  BAH.  What a day…why can’t spring break come any faster???

Last night was pretty decent.  Steph and i found a beer can under a chair in Ihouse…it was the surprise of the evening.  Then we all went to BK and wow, those Hershey sundae pie things are amazing, amazing, amazing.  Poor Steve didn’t get to have any.  Then  Steve got mad at me and Steph for who knows what, but whats new with that? Then I hung out with Matt the rest of the night which was definitely fun, and I found the remote to the tv FINALLY! It totally made my day…yeah the little things always get me.  Today we have lifting again, so hopefully my arms don’t just pop off, cuz that would really suck.  I still have mad homework to do, since I’ve put a bunch of it off until today. *cough cough chem* The long weekend was very nice, and I really don’t want to go to class tomorrow, but oh well….back to school i must go.
